My small T-SHIRT business
can help your small business during COVID-19 and
we can both survive.
We are all struggling with cash flow right now, but I have an idea to help each other.
Here's the concept
Colorado Springs and surrounding area businesses can reach out to me and I will create a design for logoed apparel for them and a link to the item(s). There is NO cost to the small business, ever.
The business shares the link to their item with their followers and supporters.
Followers buy items.
I produce the items each week and arrange delivery or pickup.
At the beginning of each month, I send a check to the small business for 50% of the price of the items sold the month before.
We both win.
It's what I know and can offer (can't just sit around all day!)
Who doesn't wear shirts?
Using only Made in the US clothing, we help more than just each other.
It is something we can offer online and I can produce in my home and not worry about being shut down.
With my access to wholesale inventory, I can produce these items for less than if you were to use a print on demand service, and we both benefit financially.
My name is Karen Montalvo, and Wear in the Air has been my fun little side hustle for a few years.
It started on Etsy as a shop dedicated to clothing for aerialist performers and recently was in the process of expanding to fun clothes for all athletic forms with it's own website.
With everything changing, I've realized it's could be a powerful platform for me to reach out, help other businesses, and bring expressions of joy and hope to many.
I sincerely hope this can be a successful endeavour for us all.
I feel it is very important for the small businesses I'm helping to make significantly more money at this than I am.
Yes, I have a family to feed but it's a delicate line between helping each other and taking advantage of the situation.
Keeping this in mind, I will personally cover all expenses associated with production, never expect a business to pay anything, and only keep what is left over at the end to help my family through this struggle.
Because we are all for-profit businesses, tax will be collected on every sale.
